Are you looking for the best high tech, interactive darts bars in London? Or do you prefer a more traditional game? Well you’re in luck, because they’re all covered in this guide!
A game of darts is one of my favourite activities to enjoy with friends in London, because everyone can have a go. You don’t need to be a super skilled player to enjoy yourself! I took my Dad out for an evening of darts for his birthday recently and our whole group of mixed ages and abilities had the best evening.
The rise in interactive, augmented reality darts bars is great for beginners. The electronic games are a little easier than regular darts can be, and the variety of games ensure your group stays entertained all night.
In the last year with a little more practice, I’ve gone from a total darts rookie to actually able to beat my boyfriend!

Best Digital Darts Bars in London
Boom Battle Bar
I recently won a competition to take a group of friends to Boom Battle Bar for free drinks, so this was the reason for my first ever visit! We were not disappointed, and had such a fun evening watching England’s latest World Cup match. The bar was busy and the atmosphere was buzzing!
Boom Battle Bar is an adventure bar based in an underground venue on Oxford Street. It’s an easy and central location to meet, the bar is huge and there are plenty of competitive activities to keep your whole group entertained for the evening. As well as darts, you can enjoy a game of shuffleboard, mini golf, axe throwing, beer pong, and even karaoke.
At Boom Battle Bar Oxford Street we paid £40 for one hour of darts with 6 players and there were a great range of games to choose from.
Boom Battle Bar tends to attract a younger crowd, and is perfect for post work drinks, a birthday celebration or a catch up with friends.
There is a second London location at the 02, as well as over 20 venues across the UK.

Gravity
If you’re looking for maximum entertainment value, Gravity is the place to go. As well as darts, there’s bowling, pool, mini golf, arcades, VR games and even an indoor go karting track!
There are five augmented reality darts games to choose from, with interactive animations, and one hour of play for 6 people costs £27.95.
I highly recommend this venue for darts, and particularly if you want to enjoy an evening of activities. The indoor go karting was great, and I tried my first ever VR experience shooting zombies. Terrifying… but I loved it!
The only downside could potentially be the location; it’s not the most central venue, so might not be convenient for everyone to travel to.
Oche
I headed to Oche for a birthday in November, and it didn’t disappoint! Located at the Strand, it was easy and convenient for everyone to meet.
There were plenty of darts boards and the venue had a modern, spacious design with light up dart boards and comfy seating areas for each team. I booked our session relatively last minute, but was able to get a table easily.
There were great food and drink options, including a pizza based menu. We ordered four pizzas to share for a group of 6 plus one starter and there was plenty for our group.
Although we arrived on time we started our session a little late, and our timer had already been on for around 15 minutes. Luckily we mentioned this to staff who were happy to add the time on to the end of our session so we didn’t miss out. Great customer service and we were able to play for our allocated time with no issues.
I found this to be the most ‘grown up’ bar of the bunch, with a focus purely on darts. This is definitely a venue to head to for a chilled evening with friends or to celebrate a special occasion.
85 minutes of darts at Oche for 6 people costs £72 (£12pp), and there is currently a package offering a darts and pizza for £22pp which looks decent value.
Flight Club
Flight Club is probably the most well known venue on this list, but unfortunately I haven’t made it here yet!
I’ve tried booking but have found it pretty hard to get a reservation. If you want to visit during a weekend, make sure you plan ahead and get your slot booked at least several weeks, if not months, in advance.
If you are unable to secure a slot, I think Oche is a great alternative and has a similar vibe, from what I’m told at least. When I am finally able to make a reservation I will update the blog with my full review!

If you’re not a fan of AR darts, and prefer a more traditional game, here are a few options for you that are highly recommended:
Spots and Stripes, Southwark – £5 for 1 hour
Williams Ale and Cider House, Whitechapel
The Old Tea Warehouse – £20 per hour during peak times
Rileys, Victoria – £5.45 per half hour
And finally, if you want to play darts for free, there are plenty of bars and pubs across London to pop in for a chill game with mates. Try Old China Hand, Clerkenwell, for free darts boards and good vibes.

Final Thoughts: Best Darts Bars in London
