I have the same issue with 2014 Silverado. Have you found a solution.

Unfortunately, I have not. I changed the coolant temperature sensor by the thermostat. Everything stayed the same. I realized my a/c compressor isn't engaging. I read that a faulty pressure switch OR low refrigerant can cause that and issues with the fans. I did get a P0532 code when I first used the scanner on it. For some reason it's gone but it was there. Since i am unable to use my gauges to check refrigerant level without my compressor kicking on, I'm gonna give replacing the pressure switch a shot before i throw in the towel and take it to the dealer. The temp sensor ran me $40. The pressure switch is about $30. Planning on doing that on Friday afternoon. I'll keep you updated (I tested the A/C relays and they were good)

So i found the issue with my truck. Turns out the A/C condenser has a crack and is leaking Freon. I guess the fans kick on whenever that happens and trips the low pressure reading on the A/C pressure sensor. Hope this reaches you in time. Sorry for the delay

I have a problem similar, my radiator fan started spinning faster than normal when turned on and keeps running for about 5 minutes after the car is shut off. Simply don't know what to do.

My 2018, chevy colorado -fan stays on 5 minutes, after shut off.. first time last Thanksgiving, then didn't do for 10 weeks, sensor sticking?! 60K miles. Dealer says today water pump and sensor.. was $1500, I just came out of warranty, they're doing for $250 plus I pd $130 for diagnostic today. Trying to help me w/cost (some sort of chevy special consideration since I was only 150 miles out of warranty)2 yr. Warranty for work they're going to perform.., hopefully took guess work out and I can't have my truck down. Hope it helps.

Have same problem with my 2020 silverado ac cuts out temp gage pins left cooling fans run high. Shutt ignition off for 10 seconds restart and all is back to normal. Back to the dealer they had it for a couple days couldnt find the problem, they told me they pulled apart all conections greased them and reconnect them. problem was solved until now more than a year and same thing is happening. Im going to start with battery cables , clean up connect and grease to see if problem occurs again. I will update soon.

Mine has been doing the same. The dealer also greased up on the conncection. I myself have changed the thermostat and two times the temp sensor. It really seems to be happening more as soon as the weather dips below 50-55. I drive for about 5 min. Then windows fog up and I look down to see my gauge is at 160. Truck will not down shift into V4. Fans run high.

I just noticed my 2014 Silverado fan started running very high and continued after I parked and turned off the truck. After several minutes of checking for bad wires, I disconnected the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes. This seemed to work. No problems so far today.

Having the same issue with my 14 Silverado..4.3...fan goes on high speed..stays on when truck is off.. replaced temp sensor .. disconnected battery and reset system.. will be ok for a while..then same thing..disc batt reset.. same thing again very aggravating

My 2014 Silverado had no reading on temp gauge, fan running high and continuing to run after turned off. Took it to car wash/oil change place, told them the problem. Guy said he had that before. He took off one battery cable, waited 5 minutes (to give it plenty of time to re-set) and re-attached. Problem solved...at least for now. I hope this is the solution. It's happened before and eventually corrected itself. Another mechanic had told me it was okay to drive and that nothing was really wrong, just the computer confused.

My 2014 5.3 is doing the same thing. I put 4 new sensors in. They work about a week than right back messing up. Two of the sensors were from the Chevy dealer.HELP
