They block valid transactions for $3 from going through and freeze my card, but then allow fraudulent transactions greater than $500 to proceed. Upon dispute, they don't issue provisional credit, take forever to investigate, and there is no way to check the status of the dispute - you have to call in or use the online chat, which takes forever. How they call themselves a "DIGITAL" credit union is beyond me; this place is like banking in 1995 - you have to call in and inform them you are going out of the country, everything is a form that you can't revisit to check the status. The debit card is the cheapest piece I've ever seen; it has no chip, and the numbers are just printed on, not raised, so they rub off, and you have to order a new one every few months. The WORST

Worst bank for car loans they work like a snail not even bothered if you paid the car loan in full. looks like a lot of uneducated jerks are working at DCU Bank in the Marlboro office looks like this bank is not in United States its in Somalia or Kenya or Central America worst customer service

If I could give them less than 1 start, I would. Been with DCU for 20+ years. They have completely gone down the tube. Awful customer service, issues with bill pay, long wait time on hold, double charge for bill payment, no payment sent, and fees for thier mistakes. In addition, we are losing features. No more Plaid or Zelle. For a bank called Digital Federal Credit Union, they have taken many digital features away. DCU, welcome to 1990s. Stay away!!

This credit account is not mine, seems added recently, so this credit account needs to be removed. Also, it has a remaining balance of $23, hence that amount gets added to my overall balance.

I believe it is essential to bring attention to the unacceptable treatment I have received regarding handling my credit card and loan accounts. Firstly, I was shocked to discover that my credit card was abruptly closed without any valid reason provided. This action has caused significant inconvenience and negative implications for my financial activities. I have been a responsible cardholder, consistently making all my timely payments. Despite this, I was burdened with unwarranted late fees, further compounding my frustrations. I strongly assert that these late fees were inaccurately applied and unjustified, as I have diligently adhered to the agreed-upon payment schedules.

This erroneous occurrence has raised serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of DCU's internal processes and record-keeping. These duplicate fees not only created unnecessary financial strain but also eroded my trust in your institution's ability to handle customer accounts competently.

While I appreciate your willingness to refund the erroneously charged late fees, I find it inadequate that DCU refuses to re-open my closed credit card account. Closing the account solely based on disputed late fees demonstrates a lack of fair judgment and disregard for the customer relationship. This decision further exacerbates the negative impact on my financial well-being and limits my access to credit facilities that I previously relied upon.

I believe the bank's responsible for providing fair and transparent services to its customers, including promptly rectifying errors and restoring customer trust.

DCU loses another 20+ year member.
BillPay Failed: after DCU converted their IT systems, multiple mortgage payments missed (I paid late fees).
CC Pay Failed: DCU VISA autopay transfer from Checking to CC failed two months in a row... I didn't catch it in time.
Even though it was a DCU to DCU technical failure, they reported it to the credit unions (over $7) - the only bad mark I have in 25 years.
I called them, multiple times, escalated to managers. The answer was "sorry, we have a new policy... we see the autopay transfer failed but you are responsible regardless". Filed dispute, nothing matters. It wasn't insufficient funds, either (I was over-paying).
I used to recommend DCU to everyone. Now moving my finances (and $100k) to another credit union. The member service just isn't what it was in the past, and the new interfaces are okay if they work... but Transfers and Autopay HAS TO WORK. When AUTOPAY doesn't work your credit score is trashed?!? JUST NOPE.

There are 4 types of CDs offered by Digital Federal Credit Union. All of them offer a 0.2% APY.

The Regular Certificate requires a $500 minimum to open and is available for terms between 3-60 months.

The Jumbo Certificate has the same terms availability, but requires a minimum of $25,000 to open.
