Looking for a festive and fun cheese appetizer for the holiday or winter season? This adorable, and easy Snowman Cheese Ball not only tastes yummy, but will be the talk of the table.
Are you looking for an easy to make appetizer that will be the life of the party? If so, I have the absolute perfect idea for you all! It is the very first recipe I fell in love with while browsing the Walmart entertaining booklet I received in the mail last week. I knew I had to replicate the Snowman Cheese Ballas soon as I laid eyes on it!
Three cheeses, slivered almond, and chives–what is not to love about the Snowman Cheese Ball.Honestly, my family used to splurge on gourmet cheeseballs in the past years, but not anymore! I was so impressed with this recipe from the Kraft Foods Hub that I couldn’t wait to try it out! In fact, I even plan on making two more for my Christmas celebrations! That’s why I need to head over to Walmart and stock up on all the supplies I”ll need!
Doesn’t this Snowman Cheese ball look adorable? Almost too cute to dig into! We paired our’s with some delicious Wheat Thins, but you could even serve it with vegetable sticks, or another type of cracker like Ritz.
It was also so easy to make because it literally was as simple as mixing the cheese, spice, chives, and slivered almonds. Forming the balls was fairly easy, and adding the peppercorn “buttons” and carrot nose were a blast!
Snowman Cheese Ball Ingredients
- 8 ounces of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1 bag of Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 cup Kraft Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped chives
- 1/4 cup Plantar’s Slivered Almonds; toasted
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Peppercorns (about 15 for buttons, eyes, mouth)
- 1 Baby carrot (nose)
Make it
Mix your cream cheese, cheddar, chives, almonds, and cayenne pepper; refrigerate for one hour. This step is crucial to be able to easily mold the 3 different sized balls.
Divide your cheese into three balls-one large, one medium, one small for the body.
Dip your cheese balls in the Parmesan cheese. This step will give it the “snowy” appearance.
Arrange balls to resemble a snowman on a serving platter.
Add peppercorns, and baby carrot. We shaped our carrot by carving it into a little pointy nose.
If you are not eating right away, cover with plastic wrap for up to 24 hours.
When ready to serve, arrange crackers, or veggies around the platter.
Get ready to WOW your guests because this Kraft Snowman Cheese Ball is delicious & has been one of our most popular recipes on our site.
