We wanted to try something new, so this was our first time at the Hillside Inn.Nice little dive bar with great food! We had a party of 7. Service was quick and accurate. They young man, who was our waiter around 7pm Sunday, Aug 13th, 2023, was very polite and good at his job. We all ordered meals and had 3 appetizers. The buffalo sauce on the wings was excellent! Seasoned sour cream for the waffle fries was on point! Fish and burgers were cooked perfectly.All in all, great food and service!

Food is always amazing! Love to eat here!They also do a lot for their community by hosting and/or participating with local fund raisers.It's also a great snowmobile or ATV stop!

Highly recommended to us and we highly recommend too! We hired them to cater our son and his wife's wedding celebration. We had ribs, chicken, Italian pasta salad, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, potato salad and dinner roles. Everything was amazing. We could not have been happier. All of our guests raved about it being the best wedding food they have ever had and I totally agree. The to go containers were an awesome touch and most all guests were more than happy to take some home. Service was top notch too. Thank you!!

So glad we visited Hillside Inn! We had the best waitress... So friendly and welcoming! She knew we weren't from the area, asked where we were from, then proceeded to describe how she recognized us. She passed us on the road earlier in the day! Incredible. The food was really tasty and hot off the grill. And the atmosphere was really comfortable. Will definitely visit this place when we're back in the Northwoods!

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat on our little road trip adventure. Excellent choice!! I had a cheeseburger and he had the mushroom and Swiss, both were awesome!! Can't go wrong with small-town bars and their food! The bartender was great company, middle of a Friday, just a few others were there. He was talkative about the area, and made us feel like we were home. I guess there are a lot of ATV trails around the area and that's where they get most of their business. We will definitely stop in again when we pass through!! Clean environment, restrooms were well kept. They offer a sirloin dinner special on Friday evenings and a ribs special on Saturday evening!

The Hillside burger is the best burger we’ve had in a long time. The generous ingredients and bacon were top notch. Fries or waffle fries just a dollar more! Friendly atmosphere and great food!
